About this organization

Action Communautaire des Ouanaminthais, referred to here as ACO, is a nonprofit organization registered in the United States with 501(c)(3) tax exempt status and legally registered in Haiti. This website is operated by ACO.

Donations and membership

Donations to ACO are voluntary and, unless we state otherwise in writing, they are not refundable. Contributions from United States taxpayers may be tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. We will issue a receipt for your records. Recurring memberships can be cancelled at any time and cancellation stops future charges. It does not refund contributions already made.

Event tickets

Tickets for Ouanaminthe En Blanc and other ACO events are sold to fund our programs. Unless we announce otherwise, tickets are non refundable but they are transferable. If ACO cancels an event outright, we will contact ticket holders about a refund or a transfer to the next edition.

Use of the site

You may read, share and link to anything on this site. You may not use it to break the law, to impersonate ACO, to collect our supporters' information, or to interfere with how the site works for other people.

Content and images

The text, photographs, logo and design on this site belong to ACO or are used by ACO with permission. Please ask before reproducing photographs of community members or program participants. If you are pictured on this site and would like the image removed, tell us and we will remove it.

Accuracy

We work to keep everything on this site current and correct, including event dates, prices and program descriptions. Details can change. Where a discrepancy exists, the information confirmed to you directly by the ACO organizing committee is what applies.

Links to other sites

This site links to third party services, including our payment provider and our social media pages. ACO is not responsible for the content or the privacy practices of sites we do not operate.

Limitation of liability

This website is provided as is. ACO is not liable for any loss arising from the use of this site, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
