Ouanaminthe En Blanc
Inspired by the international Dîner en Blanc tradition, guests dress entirely in white for five hours of fine Haitian cuisine, live cultural performance, music, dancing and fellowship.
Ouanaminthe En Blanc has grown into one of the largest social and cultural gatherings in northeastern Haiti. Every year it brings together local residents and members of the diaspora who travel from the United States, Canada, Europe and beyond to celebrate a shared heritage while funding the development of their hometown.
The inaugural edition was held in August 2023 at Villa CODEVI, where a record breaking 220 guests attended. The turnout showed the community's confidence in ACO's vision. Since that evening, each edition has welcomed returning guests and attracted many first time participants.
What began as a fundraising dinner has become a tradition. It strengthens friendships, reunites families, creates new connections and shows off the warmth of Ouanaminthe. The photographs from each edition tell the story better than we can.
Most importantly it is a fundraiser with a purpose. Every ticket and every sponsorship helps ACO finance educational initiatives, humanitarian assistance, youth development, cultural preservation and Noël Solidarité, our Christmas celebration for children from the most disadvantaged neighborhoods.
